Has been a lecturer in several universities in monetary policy, economics of banking, financial accounting. Engaged in publication of books and articles for academic and professional editors.
Holds various directorships and is Chair of companies in different countries.
Antonio Ponte has been a venture capitalist and a veteran of the European banking industry since 1977. He was a manager of 3 top Swiss Private Banks.
In 1989 he founded RaifinanzAG, an investment banking company in Zurich, involved in portfolio management, corporate finance and venture capital operations. The company was re-branded RaifinSA in 2005 and is now based in Küsnacht, Zurich, Switzerland.
He established and launched an investment fund in cooperation with AIG Group.
He has been a successful entrepreneur in the Football industry, investing and managing on two separate occasions Siena Calcio, achieving significant sport results and creation of shareholders’ value.
